Email Opt-Out
Email Opt-Out/Unsubscribe
FrontSpin has added a built in email opt-out. If you setup the email opt-out, if a prospect receives an email and no longer would like to, they can no click to unsubscribe from the bottom of the email. If the FrontSpin user has that propsect in a call/email cadence, they can still continue to try to call them; however, they will receive an email send error if the prospect makes it to an email step. To enable this setting for your team, please do the following:
- Go to your settings>your organization>email settings>then go to the bottom and select the checkbox for unsubscribe>select that option and hit save.
- Once that has been complete, you now need to add it to your layout so your users can see the checkbox from the lead/contact page.
So, to make this available to your layouts, go to settings>integrations>mapping>then go to lead or contact depending on what your team utilizes>however over the field name "email opt out" and hit the '+'>once. selected please save. - The last step to adding it to the layout is go to settings>your organization>layouts>then go to the tab at the top you team utilizes (leads or contacts)>on the right hand side of the page, hover over the "email opt out" field and click on the '+'.That will then add it to the layout on the left hand side where you can drag and drop it to the desired location. Be sure to hit save when you are done!
- After completing these steps.your team will be ready to go. When a prospect now receives an email, they will be able to click the "unsubscribe" option and that contact/lead will now now longer be able to be sent an email.
