Manually Moving, Adding or Removing Leads/Contacts In Lists

Generally speaking, most lists in FrontSpin will be dynamically populated by their Salesforce report or by their conditions-based entry criteria. This allows for contacts to be automatically moved, added or removed from the lists (e.g if a list is pulling all status NEW leads, it dynamically populates the NEW leads list, but if the status of the contact is changed to QUALIFIED, it will dynamically be removed from the NEW leads list and added to the QUALIFIED leads list).

However, sometimes you may want to simply move, add or remove a contact from a list manually. You can do this from a couple different places.

FROM THE LIST VIEW

From the LIST view, click on the blue drop-down arrow next to any contacts in the list...

If you want to move or remove multiple contacts at once, select them from the list (using the select all checkbox or by individually selecting them) and then click the blue drop-down arrow next to the list...

FROM THE CONTACT'S PAGE

From any contact's page, expand the top section that says "Lists/Playbooks and Tasks" and you can move or remove the contact from any lists there are in...

You can also use the ADD TO LIST button at the top right of the contact page to add them to a new list...

PLEASE NOTE: If your list is dynamic and you are moving contacts between steps in the list's playbook, make sure to have this 3rd setting enabled under the entry criteria for that list...

With this setting enabled, manually moving a contact within the same playbook will not affect the dynamic nature of the list. If this setting is not enabled, then any manual moves would cause the contact to supersede the dynamic nature of the list (e.g. even if it no longer met the conditions to be on the list, it would still say on there).
