Lead Status vs. Call Result
Lead Status and Call Result are two very different fields.
Lead Status
The Lead Status is the overall status of the person (e.g. Working-Contacted, Qualified, Disqualified, etc.). Lead Status is often used a criteria field when making Lists in FrontSpin (e.g. show me all Leads that are "Working-Contacted" status)...
Users should update the Lead Status based on the outcome of their interactions with the Lead (e.g. if someone is not interested in doing business, you might set their Lead Status to "Disqualified")...
With the new Lead Status being "Disqualified", they would no longer show up in the WORKING LEADS List above because they no longer meet the conditions in the Salesforce report that powers the List.
Call Result
Call Results are the dispositions of individual calls. As you see here, we called Tony several times, and each time there was a Call Result to disposition what had happened...
Call Results can be used as Exit Conditions in Playbooks (e.g. if a Call Result is "Not Interested", then remove this person from the Playbook)...
However, just because they were removed from a particular Playbook (based on the "Not Interested" Exit Condition occurring), this does not affect their Lead Status in any way. If their Lead Status is still "Working Contacted" and some builds a new List based off of that Lead Status, they will show up in that new List.
Therefore, it's important to know the distinction between these two fields and make sure to update the Lead Status when needed (e.g. if the Call Result is "Not Interested", update the Lead Status to "Disqualified" as well).
