SMS Text Messages

DISCLAIMER: Please ensure to send SMS messages only to the contacts that opted in and comply with TCPA & CTIA guidelines. In the case of SPAM concerns, FrontSpin reserves the right to terminate the access to the SMS feature for any user or customer.

New requirements from carriers require the following details must be clear in your privacy policy and term & conditions:

Privacy Policy: 
Must be clear that end user’s personal info will not be shared or sold to third parties for the purpose of marketing.  Example statement: “No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties." 
Terms & Conditions **:
Help and Opt-Out information must be presented in either the CTA or the Terms & Conditions.

To send and receive SMS messages from FrontSpin, click the SMS button either at the top of the timeline in your Contact Page or next to Call/Email Buttons to the upper left of the Contact Page.

The pop up window that opens up is where you would type your message, limit 160 characters per message.

All messages will be stored in the Contact Page timelines.

If integrated with Salesforce, it will also be logged there in the Salesforce Activity in the comment section showing the full conversation history.
*NOTE* FrontSpin will pull the text messages every 20 minutes to see if there’s a new message that needs to be updated in the Salesforce activity. If no messages are sent or received after 20 minutes, a new activity will be created in Salesforce when the conversation restarts.

Users can receive notifications of any Inbound SMS messages. Just be sure to enable in the Settings => Notifications => SMS Notifications.

If you miss a notification, Click on the History tab to see all notifications for inbound SMS Messages. You can Mark them as Read, Reply, or Call/Email.
